Accidents and deaths due to asphyxiation from oxygen-depleted tanks and holds are one of the greatest hazards faced by maritime personnel and crew members.

This program trains personnel to recognize the hazards in a confined space, then demonstrates procedures to evaluate and safely control work conditions, including confined space permitting and use of monitors to read oxygen levels or detect toxic gas. Length: 52 minutes
