Every rack is hand-built out of Northern White Cedar logs straight from Michigan. This species of wood is known to have the best weather-resistance against the toughest conditions of every season thanks to its natural oils. No rotting from wet snowy conditions in winter, resistant to cracking from intense heat in the summer, and tolerant to insects when they start coming out in the spring. This lumber is highly stable and won’t begin to warp or sag over time. Cedar is the number one choice when it comes to outdoor storage. 

You can have peace of mind knowing your watercraft is supported by arms that are capable of holding up to 100lbs, thanks to precision craftsmanship. Each vertical post and foot of the rack are 4 and 5/8 inches in diameter and each arm is 3 inches in diameter. This rack stands at arms height, making even the top section easy to lift a kayak or canoe in or out of. Reinforced by glue, bolts, and galvanized screws, this one is built to last.

You have the option of 3 different finish preferences. You can pick from canyon brown, natural, or sanded finish (you can make a DIY project out of it.) Using an outdoor-friendly sealant is the best-added protection against splintering, scratches, and weather conditions. However, if you decide on no finish at all, it will gradually weather into a gray or silver shade.
